about us
Welcome to Rosalina’s Café and Bakery — a blend of Portuguese tradition and American flair.
Inside, you are welcomed by the smell of fresh pastéis de nata and espresso. You can choose from our extensive coffee menu and our bakery selections of the day. But that’s not all: peruse the food menu and our state-of-the-art commercial mobile kitchen will prepare breakfast and lunch for you too.
Portuguese terms to know at Rosalina’s:
Bifana (bee-FAH-nuh) – Our grandmother’s northern-style recipe: thin pork marinated in red wine and garlic, seared and simmered in a rich sauce of peppers, onions, port, white wine, whiskey, and herbs, served inside a fresh Portuguese bread roll.
Pastel de Nata (pah-SHTEL dih NAH-tah) – Portugal’s beloved custard tart: crisp, flaky, all-butter pastry filled with cinnamon-infused custard and baked until golden. Best with a touch of cinnamon and an espresso.
Our name is a tribute to our grandmother, Avó Rosalina, who inspired our dad’s love for cooking. He passed down both the name and the love to his daughter Rosalina, who teamed up with her brother to bring it to you.
Come by and experience a taste of our world. We’re so excited to share it with you.
Our milk, tea, and lemonade are organic, our bread is bakery fresh, and our eggs are the highest quality we can find! We try to exclusively serve pasture-raised eggs at Rosalina’s Café, but can’t guarantee to always keep them in stock. We appreciate your patience with our search for the best eggs around!
